Kingdom A&S

Going to Kingdom A&S this weekend and I'm pretty psyched about it. I'm not entering, but going just to hang out, ooh and ahh over the entries, talk with friends, and hopefully get some sewing done. With plans for both an Italian renaissance and a German gown in the works, I need some help getting a bodice fitted properly. count_gunthar is still undecided on whether or not he'll attend, although he has said he doesn't want me driving to Tyler all by myself.

My big project at work this week was to clean off my desk and finally get through some of the piles of documentation laying about. The mission has been completed and now I've been dealing with the shocked looks on my coworker's faces. One told me she had never seen the surface of my desk in the four or five years she's been working in the Law Department and threatened to go get her camera phone and take pictures. I didn't realize it was that bad...

In spite of the dreary weather outside, I'm in a really good mood today. Could be that it's Friday, that it's payday, or that my apartment is clean for the weekend, but I do know that a good portion of my mood is because I have a man who really takes care of me.

I won't be able to go...:( We have a couple things that have to be done, and Saturday is the only day to do them.
