I'm a pushover

We are in possession of a third kitty tonight. I found a stray out on the stairwell landing after hearing her meow while we were eating dinner. She's very sweet, has unusually light calico markings and definitely has some Siamese in there -- her blue eyes are slightly crossed and she has that meow the breed gets. I'm pretty sure she's been out for at least a couple of days, based on how thin she is towards the hip area.

We're keeping her in the second bathroom with food and an improvised litter box. I think she appreciates the quiet, although Maddie and Allie have been peeking at her through the crack at the bottom of the door and the three of them have been yowling at each other. We'll put out lost notices tomorrow and see if anyone responds.

Aw, pretty kitty! She looks similar to our Ying - who is definitely half-siamese. :)

I hope you find her home!

Me, too. And I'm glad we brought her in tonight -- the weather is starting to get pretty dreadful here.

I'm glad she isn't out in the weather. She looks very sweet...

What a beauty!

I love the way Siamese cats drawl their meows. They are so Southern! (Well, I love their meow right up until they wake me up at 4 a.m.; then I am less enamored.)

There is NO ignoring that meow -- at any time.

See, I see that look and that is a face that you can easily imagine looking down at you at 4 in the morning. That expression of "why are you not doing what you are supposed to and paying attention to ME!?!?!"

Good luck with the new kitty!

What a pretty little girl!

I'm a complete sucker too...that's how I ended up with my tiny Isis.

I hope she works out for you or she finds her people with your help.

Do you still have her????

We've still got her. I took her to the vet today -- she tested negative for all the bad feline diseases and has already been spayed. The doctor estimates she's no more than 18 months old.

We're boarding her over the weekend because I don't want to leave her cooped up in the bathroom by herself while we're in Houston and she actually behaves pretty well at the vet. The staff will give her all the lovins' she needs.
