Cleaning: Check

I have said on more than one occasion that becoming Crown ought to come with a maid service. We spend an awful lot of our weeknights dealing with Kingdom business, trying to keep up with chores and other things we need to, and attempting to spend some quality time together while we travel nearly every weekend. As a result, the apartment -- while not filthy -- was not meeting my standards of cleanliness. So I blew my first free Saturday in a while to clean this place from top to bottom. All that's left is Gunthar's portion of cleaning the bathrooms.

The upside? I don't have to worry about scrubbing the entire apartment during my glorious 12 days off that begin late next Wednesday afternoon. There will be some minor upkeep and a reorganization of the project room, but I can finally stop feeling guilty about playing WoW when I really should be vacuuming.

Very good! Cleaning is a job that professionals are worshiped for. I soo need a maid service again. A tip on cleaning the bathroom ... rubber gloves and a mask and 'Bar Keepers Friend'. Trust me!

I finally got the kitchen to a presentable state. Not where I'd ideally like it, but acceptable should someone walk in the door. And I didn't die in the process!!

Seems we are both cleaning fools today. How are you feeling? It is seeming that my body is striking again by mutating whatever I was originally given to be even more heinous than it started. Something I've done since i I was a kid...drove my dad nutz ;)

However, I daresay that the house is in acceptable enough shape that I will not groan at the sight of it when we come back in a week! Yay!

Though if I can muster the energy, I might dust the living room today...we'll see. For now, it's catching my breath between bouts of laundry that we have been remiss in taking care of for *mumblemumblemumble* time! ;)

I actually feel fine - hardly sniffly at all today. I don't think I got the bug as bad as you and G did, which makes me glad since I really didn't want to be sick over Christmas. I've done that before and it isn't fun.
