Valentine's Day
Both Gunthar and I agree that Valentine's Day is an overrated holiday and merely a ploy to pull us into another commercialized bout of spending and oneupmanship. And do we really need a day that dictates pampering your honey when you should be doing that throughout the year?
That being said, under the guise of "just because" (or so he says), Gunthar came home last night and presented me with a dozen white tulips (one of my favorite flowers) and four scrumptious chocolate-dipped strawberries. Not celebrating Valentine's Day -- yeah, right.
But then again, what did I do? I gave him a really mushy, sentimental Valentine card and left it for him to find on his computer desk this morning.
Silly us. We're such hypocrites.
Happy Valentine's Day to all my LJ friends.

I still refuse to celebrate Valentine's Day. With you, every day is Valentine's.
I liked the card, I even read it. (Guys NEVER read the card) The sentiment was perfect.
Tonight maybe you will get that "Perfect Experience for a woman"
Aww
Happy Vday!

Btw, I'll have to show you the insanely cheezy yet perfect card I got John! *grin*
